How To: Use a Nintendo Wii controller as a computer mouse

  • Unlike ripping DVDs (previous tutorial), this project carries no legal issues!
  • Also, you may find the steps to be alot easier too!
-What you need- 
  • A single Wii Remote $40
  • GlovePIE [download]
  • A bluetooth adapter $20
  • Wii Sensor Bar $20
Total Cost $0-$80, 
 
-Instructions-
  1. Install GlovePIE from the link above in the materials list
  2. Connect your Wii Remote to the bluetooth dongle by holding down 1+2 on your wii remote, there is no password on the remotes, so connection should be simple
  3. Open GlovePIE
  4. Download the following file to your computer, then open it in GlovePIE [file]
  5. Then, just click "Run" and everything should be working
-Notes-
  •  Keep the sensor bar 5-10 feet from you
  • "A" is your left click
